The Visma Cloud Delivery Model (VCDM) is Visma's established framework that defines the standards for developing, delivering, and operating secure, compliant, and high-quality cloud services. It provides a structured and guided path for hundreds of development teams across Visma, ensuring products adhere to the highest standards.

This role is essential in shaping how Visma teams adopt and deliver AI-enabled products safely, efficiently, and at scale. You will ensure that development teams can confidently navigate the "AI jungle," supported by measurable and monitorable controls through VCDM.

As the Area Owner for AI in VCDM your work will focus on these pillars, transforming complexity into a structured guided path:

• VCDM Evolution: Define and drive changes needed to VCDM to effectively incorporate modern AI development into the model. This includes ensuring the model provides practical guidance and measurable controls for safe and responsible AI adoption at scale.
• Team Guidance and Support: Work with a high number of development teams across Visma to guide them through changes in how they develop, deliver, and operate cloud services with AI through VCDM.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other specialist teams to drive technology initiatives that modernize Visma's capabilities and help us reach new heights.

We believe you have these qualifications:

• AI-Augmented Engineering: Mastery of integrating AI into the daily engineering workflow with focus on effectively delegating complex tasks to AI agents and meticulously managing their information environment through prompt and context engineering, to ensure high-performance, reliable results.
• AI Product Development: Some hands-on experience in building AI-powered software. May include LLM integration, RAG architecture, and the engineering principles required to build robust AI agents.
• Software Engineering: Solid background in software development, best practices, and engineering principles.
• Strategic Perspective: Ability to see the big picture of AI product delivery and translate it into practical guidance and measurable controls that scale.
• Action-Oriented: Efficient multitasker, able to translate ideas into actions.
• Effective Communicator: Ability to clearly translate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Nice to have: Proven understanding of the global AI regulatory landscape (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF).
