Job Overview
Medius is seeking a
Project Manager/Application Consultant
to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you will lead customer onboarding projects for our spend management suite across multiple markets. You will be responsible for guiding customers through the full implementation lifecycle-solution design, deployment, UAT, go-live, and hyper care. This position combines both project management and application consulting responsibilities, offering the opportunity to specialize over time based on your skills and interests.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead and manage customer implementation projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
• Develop project plans, allocate resources, track milestones, and manage budgets.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions, both onsite and remotely.
• Configure Medius solutions to meet customer requirements, aligned with best practices.
• Support customers during testing, go-live, and post-implementation hyper care.
• Analyze customers' current S2P/P2P processes and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Drive process optimization initiatives for customers.
• Document solution specifications and manage change requests.
• Provide regular reporting and updates to project stakeholders.

Qualifications
General requirements for the position:

• People person with strong communication skills, a creative mindset and a can-do attitude
• You are business minded and result-driven
• The ability to manage several parallel tasks with good quality and control
• Fluent in Norwegian language, both spoken and written
• Fluent in English language, both spoken and written
• Available for travels to clients. Most work is done from your desk, but there will be occasional visits to client sites as the project work warrants

The following hands-on experience is desired for the role:

• Previous work experience from implementation of software solutions, ideally cloud-based/SaaS
• Know-how of ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics AX/Finance & Operations, Dynamics NAV/Business Central, SAP, or Infor M3) and/or a good understanding of Accounts Payable processes.
• Previous experience of project management, preferably in the IT/SaaS industry
• Prior experiences of working as a consultant
• Prior exposure to AP automation or Spend management is a strong plus
