CLOSING DATE 31.07.2024 NOV Process Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Planner to join our team. In this role, you will take responsibility for all Planning & Scheduling activities in Projects/Tenders and act as the Planning Manager, reporting functionally to the Project Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our global projects and ensure their successful execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish project schedules for tenders and execution phases. Assist the Project Manager with project start-up activities and mobilization. Review contracts, clarify the scope, and account for all requirements in planning, execution, control, and closeout of projects. Prepare Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Master Deliverable Lists (MDL) in cooperation with the project team. Establish project schedules with relevant activity relationships according to project requirements and in compliance with Project Execution Methodology (PEM). Update project schedules and keep the Project Manager advised of any changes. Monitor and control project activities against the baseline schedule and highlight major deviations to the project team. Analyze the critical path and highlight major risks in the schedule. Support the Project Manager in preparing variation order requests (VOR) and prepare re-baselines according to approved variation orders. Prepare project progress reports for internal and external stakeholders. Prepare project forecasts for quarterly and year-end reporting. Assist the Project Manager with project close-out activities and demobilization.

Qualifications:

Expert in using planning tools such as Primavera and MS Office. Experience working internationally within the oil and gas industry. Minimum of 8 years of experience working in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. Ability to work independently and take initiative in executing responsibilities. Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
