The position

By joining our team in Exploration & Production Norway you will have the opportunity to:


Work on diverse and complex tasks, towards several disciplines and in different parts of the company.

Some of the key tasks to be solved are: 

Daily production and energy optimization, well monitoring and performance.

Operational planning and follow up in a multidisciplinary team.

Well maturation and interventions.

Production technical input to field development projects.

Energy efficient production optimization and emission predictions.

Specialist support within integrated asset modelling, sand management, well chemistry and pressure transient analysis.

Carbon capture and storage projects.

Contribution to digitalization and improvement initiatives.

Experience and skills within production technology and related proficiencies like reservoir, drilling & well, flow assurance, process technology, mathematics, physics, chemistry/chemical engineering, or data science.

Operational experience and experience from field development projects. 

Relevant software competence, and the ability to learn new tools. 

Programming (Python, Javascript) capabilities are an advantage.

Experience within statistics and data analytics. 

Pressure transient analysis experience, integrated asset modelling, sand management and well chemistry. 

Innovative and digital mindset, and an eagerness to learn and develop. 

Fluent in both spoken and written English, good knowledge or willingness to learn Norwegian.
Successful candidates will be hired in positions according to experience level. Candidates with experience from adjacent disciplines, will also be considered. Lacking formal education can be compensated by relevant experience.
