For the next stage of Kahoot’s growth, we are expanding our world-class product team and looking for three Senior Product Managers. One of the roles will focus on engaging learning including game development, one role will focus on consumers, especially improving Kahoot’s self-study products for students, and one on our app Motimate.
The team
You will join a dynamic and fast-paced international environment and work with cross-functional teams to design and develop products that deliver on our company vision and strategy. You will work with stakeholders located in Norway and Poland mainly. You will be hands-on in leading a team of fantastic people who make products that are loved by millions of people across the world.
This role is based in Oslo, and you will report to a Director of Product located in Oslo.
As a Senior Product Manager at Kahoot you will:
- Define and evangelize your product vision and roadmap both internally and externally
- Lead an autonomous, multi-disciplinary agile team of designers and developers - also working closely with the commercial and marketing teams
- Be expected to take tough prioritization decisions in order to maximize the success of your team
- Have a deep understanding of Kahoot’s commercial, user, and technical objectives and deliver them in your product
- Build the right things in the right way, by applying best practice product discovery and agile delivery techniques
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience.
- Experience leading a team and inspiring people to go the extra mile, but you are also a team player who enjoys working collaboratively.
- Intensely curious and yet have a strong bias for action and delivery.
- Capable of operating at both a strategic level and diving into the details.
- Highly evidence-based in your decision-making and yet understands the importance of looking beyond the data.
- Passionate about product quality and innovation.
- An excellent communicator - both written and verbal (fluency in English is a must).
- Energized by a demanding, fast-moving environment.
- Committed to continuous improvement of yourself, your team, and the organization.
