As a key member of our Data & AI team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced analytics solutions using Azure Services, Databricks and other relevant technologies. You’ll leverage a client-centric approach to translate our client’s business strategy into solutions and services that lead to successful, impactful outcomes.Together we do what matters.Extensive experience in the Oil & Gas sector, with a strong understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunitiesExperience working with stakeholders to create technical visions, high-level architectures, and delivery roadmapsExperience from leading technical implementation teamsExpertise in Microsoft Azure Data & AI Services, including Azure DatabricksExperience with data lake technologies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data insightsEffective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levelsRelevant education in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fieldFluency in both English and NorwegianIn addition, these will help you to stand out: Certification in Azure Services (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect)Programming skills in languages such as Python, Spark, SQL, C#/.NETFamiliarity with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniquesStrong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architecturesExperience working with large datasets and performing data visualization and storytellingCharacteristics that can spell success for this role:
Consultative, collaborative, analyticalResilient, adaptable, flexibleHumble leader, strong negotiator, relationship builderPassionate about tech and engaging with and advising clientsAs an architect assigned to a client project, you will typically work closely with delivery teams and client stakeholders to provide technical leadership, drive architectural decisions, create plans and roadmaps, and produce design artifacts Design and develop cloud-based data architectures using Azure Services (e.g., Azure Data & AI services, Azure Databricks, Fabric)Develop and maintain large-scale data lakes using tools such as Fabric, Azure Databricks and Azure Data & AI servicesGuide and lead technology teams to implement the designed solutions working as a technical lead handling impediments and blockers from the teamWork closely with IT teams to integrate data from various sources, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, and cloud-based servicesProvide expertise and guidance on development and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, reports using Power BI, leverage AI and cognitive services, and/or other analytics experiencesConduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisionsAs a senior member of the Avanade technical community, you will provide coaching and mentoring to motivate and inspire more junior colleagues from within your team and across the organization
