Survey Manager

The Survey department provides onshore and offshore resources to our projects and is heading the development and strategy of the survey services within DeepOcean. As Survey Manger you will be responsible for leading the department in the right direction according to DeepOcean’s objectives and strategies. The Survey Manager is a leader of leaders and currently has 5 leaders reporting to the position.
This position is based onshore in one of DeepOcean's offices in Norway (Haugesund, Stavanger, Oslo, or Bergen). Candidates located outside of Haugesund should expect regular travel to the Haugesund office.
Duties and responsibilities
Champion HSEQS values and processes, ensuring a culture of safety and compliance.
Manage the delivery of survey services deliveries in Norway, maintaining responsibility for personnel and resources.
Operate the Survey department within budget and business objectives while driving continuous organisational improvement.
Mentor and develop managers in the Department.
Forecast and maintain necessary resources and competencies to support projects and developments.
Lead the continuous enhancement of survey methods through development and maintenance of software and hardware in addition to governing documentation and guidelines.
Maintain efficient working relationships and collaboration with projects, relevant internal departments and UK Survey Services.
Support tender processes and ensure peer reviews are done by relevant stakeholders.
Implement innovative technology initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the offshore subsea industry.
Proven leadership experience.
Fluent in Norwegian and English
