Exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our team.

This role is pivotal in the Norwegian Refugee Council's (NRC) aim to enhance sector-wide humanitarian capacity through cutting-edge market analysis skills required for cash preparedness and supply chain planning.


Your role will involve organizing virtual training sessions with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring project progress, and optimizing processes for market analysis implementation.

You will contribute directly to our goal to empower humanitarian actors to make evidence-based decisions for effective solutions in humanitarian response.


What we are looking for:
We are looking for a humanitarian or development professional, with experience in project support or event management. Someone with excellent communication and analytical skills.

You need to be fluent in English, and knowledge of other NRC languages (Spanish, French, Arabic) is a great asset.

What you will do:

Some of your specific responsibilities include:


  • Training Program Support and Communication: Assist in adapting and facilitating NRC's training programs, create a comprehensive communication plan to ensure timely dissemination of training opportunities and lessons learned, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.

Project Monitoring and Feedback: Monitor project progress with the Project Advisor, track key performance metrics, gather participant feedback through surveys, and ensure project visibility and reporting compliance with ECHO requirements.

Market Analysis Process Optimisation: Provide direct support for market analysis implementation, review analysis reports, facilitate community learning, and lead the development and optimization of digital tools for data collection.

What you will bring:

  • University degree in political science or other social studies.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, working knowledge of other NRC languages (Spanish, French, Arabic) is an asset.
  • Relevant work experience in Humanitarian/ Development Sector (desirable).
  • Experience from grants management in humanitarian operations is an advantage.
  • Competent Microsoft environment user, including word, excel, outlook, ppt, SharePoint, etc.
  • Proficient in data collection tool KoboCollect and Power BI dashboards.
  • Knowledge of international humanitarian work and donor procedures (desirable).
  • Experience from managing or providing support to projects or events.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other departments, sections and units.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
