  • You will be our fifth backend developer, and we want help to build stable services with good code. All our team members are senior developers, so we want you to learn from us, as well as bring new ideas and knowledge to the table.
  • We are building the world's most loved chatbot, using all the buzzwords (AI, LLM, ML, GPT-4, Gemini, etc).
  • We use AI both in the chatbot, but also on the platform side to help users build content.

What you will do:

As a DevOps Developer on the Product team, your job will be to:

  • Research, develop, and improve.
  • Continuously improve the platform while looking out for new opportunities.
  • Be responsible for all the stages of the feature development cycle
  • Discuss ideas, design speccing, and workshopping
  • Complex problem-solving and coordination with other teams to deliver features
  • Release features to thousands of users
  • Freedom to work across the stack and have a lot of input on the areas you wish to focus on
  • Talk directly to customers (if you are comfortable with that)

Who we think you are:

  • 3-5+ years experience with DevOps or Infrastructure
  • Experience with either GCP, Azure or AWS
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience with CircleCI or any CI/CD tool.
  • Experience with Terraform with public cloud like AWS or GCP.
  • Commitment to the craft and the collaboration involved. Peer reviewing, and writing robust, reusable, and testable code.
  • Understanding of scalability and performance
  • Ability to lead or self-organize a project through the entire feature development life cycle

It's a bonus if you have experience with:

  • Knowledge about DNS Layer and Application Layer Networking.
  • Experience with Docker optimisations.
  • Experience with implementing SLIs, Reliability and Observability.
  • ElasticSearch
  • Postgresql, MongoDB, or other SQL/NoSQL databases
  • High level knowledge of AI and ML
