The Role
The Senior Account Executive's main responsibility is to strategically manage and expand a portfolio of existing and new clients across a targeted industry. The senior executive will look after existing accounts, plan and execute strategic expansions as well as spearhead activities to acquire new business in the industry.

The Senior Account Executive reports to the Manager, Industry Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Retain and expand existing accounts through up-sell and cross-sell the Kahoot at Work suite.
  • Build and execute strategic plans for supporting world's leading companies across a specific industry.
  • Drive initiatives to build and maintain a strong pipeline that creates revenue quarter over quarter.
  • Lead a solution and value based sales process from prospecting to closing the deals on global enterprise accounts.
  • Effectively manage and communicate with C-level stakeholders to identify & align with client's business goals and objectives to drive high value solutions and results
  • Be the subject matter expert in presenting the value and drive the sales process across Kahoot at Work suite.
  • Work closely together with our Customer Success team, Pre sales team, and rest of the commercial teams to ensure high value business outcomes for the customers.
  • Utilise HubSpot (CRM) to manage and record all account activity, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date quotations, account activities, opportunities, and leads.

Requirements
Who we are looking for:

  • 5+ years experience in solution and value based selling in the SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record in growing and expanding new and existing customers.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to be both strategic and hands-on with your accounts.
  • Excellent negotiation skills - ability to engage the customer in a strategic dialogue, aiming to reach a mutually beneficial agreement.
  • Strong ability to build relationships - connecting with, and building trust in order to ensure a long term relationship with the customer.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills - the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Ambitious, self driven and a growth mindset - meaning you evolve, adapt, and thrive in the face of challenges.
  • You are adaptable and excellent at navigating in a highly-changing, fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Fluency in Spanish or French (verbal and written) is an advantage.
