Com4 er en betydelig aktør i det norske telekom-markedet, med 50% markedsandel innen IoT segmentet. Gjennom roamingavtaler tilbyr vi IoT kommunikasjon på 2G/3G/4G/5G i 700 nett globalt. Som Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) har Com4 sitt eget mobile kjernenett og portefølje av Business Support Systems (BSS) og Operational Support Systems (OSS).



Et sentralt element i vårt kjernett er vårt IP/MPLS nettverk som forbinder nettverkselementer på våre forskjellige datasentre og utgjør grensesnittet mot våre kunder og partnere/leverandører av peering, IP Transit og IPX/GRX. Vi har løsninger for flere VPN varianter tilpasset bedriftskunder med dedikerte APN og ulike kommunikasjonsbehov. Vi har utstrakt bruk av MPLS både i IP og mobile nettelementer for effektiv tjenesteproduksjon. FW og NAT løsninger er viktige sikkerhetselementer i vårt design. Tjenestene vi produserer møter høye krav til oppetid og løsningsfleksibiliteten er en sentral del av løsningen vi tilbyr kunder. Fremover vil nettverket utvikles videre for å støtte 5G SA mobiltjenester, skalere og øke graden av automatisering.



Om rollen

Som IP Network Engineer vil du utvikle og drifte et moderne nett basert på IP/BGP/MPLS/OSPF protokoller. Vi søker deg som har kompetanse og engasjement for å sikre et skalerbart og fleksibelt IP nett med høy oppetid.



Både erfarne seniorer og kandidater med kortere erfaring vil bli vurdert, og rollens oppgaver og ansvar kan tilpasses erfaringsnivå.



Vi ser etter deg som er løsningsorientert og uredd i møte med kompliserte oppgaver. Vi verdsetter gode samarbeids- og kommunikasjonsevner, samtidig som det er avgjørende å arbeide selvstendig og proaktivt på eget fagområde.



For å ytterligere forsterke vårt tekniske team, søker vi en IP Network Engineer som har kompetanse eller erfaring på flere av følgende områder, samt interesse for å lære mer:

  • Erfaring med utvikling og/eller drift av nettverk - gjerne fra ISP, MNO/MVNO, eller konsulentvirksomhet.

  • IP/MPLS nettverksprotokoller (IP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, BPG, VPN, L2TP).

  • Firewall og NAT implementeringer.

  • OSS verktøy for logging og monitorering av nettverk som NetFlow, Icinga, Splunk, Grafana, Telegraf.

  • Nettverkssystemer og protokoller som DNS, NTP, DHCP, RADIUS, SMTP, SNMP, Streaming Telemetry, BMP, BGP-LS.
