Job Mission

Are you ready to take the lead and make an impact? We're seeking a Finance Manager to join our Norwegian finance team, where you'll be at the forefront of managing the financial operations of our Norwegian legal and group entities. What You'll Do:
  • Leadership: Lead and inspire a small, high-performing finance team in Norway, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Financial Closure Processes: Oversee smooth and accurate monthly and year-end closes.
  • Process Improvement: Streamline accounting operations to ensure efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Manage cash forecasting, VAT filings, and statutory reporting.
  • Strategic Influence: Work alongside the Senior Finance Manager and global finance team to shape accounting policies across the group.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with auditors, tax authorities, and internal teams to achieve financial excellence.
Ideal Profile
  • Qualified Accountant: Certified in Norway (or equivalent), with expertise in compliance, audits, and statutory filings. Norwegian GAAP is your bread and butter, and IFRS knowledge is a bonus.
  • Broad Industry Knowledge: Energy sector experience is great, but we welcome skills from other fast-growing industries.
  • Process Improvement Guru: You excel at optimizing workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with accounting tools and ERP systems is essential; familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: You motivate your team and thrive on achieving shared goals.
  • Clear Communicator: Fluent in English (Norwegian is a big advantage) with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: You're meticulous, ensuring precision in every task.
  • Proactive Problem-Solver: You anticipate challenges and tackle them head-on, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
