Your position

As Process Engineer Nordics you will be responsible for delivering the process engineering service for multiple customer's service contracts within the Nordic area. As a Process Engineer you are a sparring partner of our customers with the goal to improve our customers competitive position in the rapidly changing environments of Airport, Warehouse Automation, Parcel & Postal business. You can identify and generate new improvement opportunities beneficial for both Vanderlande and our customers.

Your main tasks will be

  • Analyse and evaluate system performance, logistical and operational processes and come up with recommendations towards our customers.
  • Develop, maintain and improve methods to gain and use relevant performance data.
  • Develop data and process mining activities.
  • Communicate performance status and improvement actions internally and with customer.
  • Develop customized solutions to support Continuous Improvement for our customers.
  • Execute scans, availability and regular operational reports.
  • Extracting & analyzing data from our systems for the purpose of problem-solving during incidents.
  • Initiate and support sales and implementation activities for revisions, modifications and retrofits (RMR).
  • Identify, generate and sell new opportunities at current customer base.
  • Building solid customer relationships.
Your department

Service Operations Nordics is an internationally operating service organisation located in Oslo, Norway for customers in the Nordic countries in our Baggage Handling, Warehouse Automation, and Parcel and Postal business units. Within this function you will report to the service manager Nordics. Alongside the traditional services, we are also hard at work developing ourselves as a business partner for our customers; and we are looking for talented people to help us

Your profile

As Process Engineer you will be in frequent contact with both internal and external stakeholders building up long-term relationships. It is therefore essential that you have good communication skills. You have good analytical skills and can comfortably communicate your findings to customers and colleagues. You have experience in SQL and a strong interest in working bigdata analysis tools such as SPLUNK. You can identify relevant questions and seek answers within the data without getting side-tracked.
  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position, preferably in a technical, industrial or logistical environment
  • Experience with SQL, Python or SPLUNK
  • Good command of English, proficiency in one Nordic language highly preferable
  • Willing to travel abroad (10%)
