Bulk Infrastructures is looking for a Sustainability & Compliance Manager
As our new Sustainability & Compliance Manager you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing sustainability initiative and regulatory compliance programs across the organization's data center portfolio. This role will ensure that all data centers meet environmental, energy efficiency, and compliance standards, while driving sustainability strategies that align with corporate objectives.
The manager will work closely with construction, engineering, site management, finance teams and strategic development to integrate sustainability best practices into asset life cycle management and operational processes.
Some of your key responsibilities in this role will be:
- Develop and implement a sustainability roadmap to enhance energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and promote environmental responsibility across data center operations. Set targets for key metrics, including power usage effectiveness (PUE) and water usage effectiveness (WUE), and support the Head of Sustainability in achieving long-term goals for the organization.
- Collaborate with engineering, site operations and project management teams to ensure sustainability principles are incorporated into equipment procurement, maintenance, and end-of-life strategies.
- Identify and implement circular economy practices to reduce waste and improve resource efficiency.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, energy efficiency standards, and industry certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO/IEC 30134, EU Taxonomy, CNDCP, CSRD and local environmental laws).
- Develop and manage sustainability reporting frameworks, providing data-driven insights on environmental performance and regulatory compliance.
Whom we are looking for:
- Strategic thinker with a passion for sustainability and regulatory excellence.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience presenting sustainability data and compliance reports.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Engineering, Sustainability, Compliance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in sustainability management, compliance, or environmental regulations in a data center, critical infrastructure, or related industry.
- Knowledge of data center energy efficiency standards, carbon reporting frameworks, and global sustainability regulations.
- Proven experience with ISO certifications, LEED/BREEAM accreditation, and ESG reporting frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven sustainability reporting and regulatory compliance tracking.
