As we continue on our growth journey, we are now going to strengthen our team with a new Product & Jewellery Designer.
About the job
As our Product & Jewellery Designer, you will play a key role in designing and developing new products and collections, ensuring they reflect Tom Wood's commitment to quality, innovation, and responsibility. You will work closely with the Creative Director and the Product Development Team, suppliers, and key stakeholders, contributing to projects from concept to final execution. The role involves 3D modeling, material exploration, supplier collaboration, and strategic research to push creative boundaries and optimize development processes.
The ideal candidate has a keen eye for design and craftsmanship, strong 3D modeling skills, and a structured yet creative approach.
The role reports directly to our Head of Product Development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design new products and collections in collaboration with the Development Team, while supporting ongoing development projects.
- Develop detailed design briefs, communicate with suppliers, and assist in project execution while meticulously securing all details.
- Use 3D software to create accurate design models and tech packs.
- Research production techniques, and sourcing solutions to enhance product innovation.
- Utilize the Tom Wood tech lab for sustainable sampling and product exploration.
- Maintain organized documentation and administrative records to ensure smooth workflows.
- Stay informed on industry trends to support strategic decision-making.
Whom we are looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience from a similar role.
- Experience in fashion, jewellery, or accessories is a strong advantage.
- Interest and understanding of industry trends, materials, and production techniques.
- Proficient in 3D design software.
- A creative and curious mindset, eager to explore new ideas and push design boundaries.
- Highly self-driven and structured, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and oral).
- Experience working in an international setting is an advantage.
