We are looking for a highly motivated new team member to our Financial Quality and Assurance team. In this position, you will join a highly qualified team that works with a variety of tasks within IFRS, financial and customer tax reporting, and internal control on a Nordic level. The FQ&A team is responsible for delivering accurate and timely representation of the Bank's financial performance in accordance with laws and regulations, as well as maintaining the internal control framework for the Bank. All statutory reporting definitions and accounting treatments are to be defined by this team. We are also responsible for all accounting policies for the bank and answering ad hoc requests on short deadlines. The new Financial Controller will, besides daily tasks in the FQ&A team, be responsible for our customer tax reporting. You will lead the reporting and coordinate with the rest of the business involved, making sure we deliver within deadlines and with good quality.

Main activities
  1. Lead and coordinate customer tax reporting on a Nordic level.
  2. Drive improvements, standardization, and process efficiency.
  3. Maintain and develop the Nordic Chart of Accounts, reporting, and internal control processes for the Bank.
  4. Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes.
  5. Quality review of account reconciliations and accounting monitoring.
  6. Consult and advise on accounting and internal control matters.
  7. Participate in and/or drive project and other ad hoc matters.

Competence and skills
  1. Ability to clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner.

  4. Experience with customer tax reporting would be an advantage.
  5. Knowledge of internal control.
  6. Self-starter, quick learner, and flexible team player.
  7. Enjoys driving change and improvement initiatives.
  8. Structured.
  9. Fluent in English, both written and oral.
Experience

Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience or from a similar position.

Education

Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, or Finance. Other experience may compensate for educational requirements.
