Job Purpose

The Production Planner will ensure Production Orders for Production Cells are raised as and when required to the Master Production Schedule, monitor their progress to closure, allowing On Time Delivery of Product to the Customer.

Job Description

As a key member of our energetic and agile Production Planning team, you will coordinate workshop floor activities and support MPM Manufacturing. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring clean starts to production and sequencing of workflow.
  • Monitoring progress through manufacturing.
  • Control and monitor the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to achieve On Time Delivery (OTD) for our customers.
You are meant for this job if:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, with a high level of competency in production orders using SAP.
  • Knowledge of master data elements such as Bill of Materials (BOM), Work Centers, and Routing is important for creating and managing production orders.
  • Understanding MRP processes to ensure materials are available for production.
  • Proficient in order processing and inventory management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Planning, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Relevant work experience can compensate for a lack of formal education.
  • Experience with Safran, Primavera, ProArc are also a plus.
  • Proficiency in English and Norwegian, both written and oral.
