As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in leveraging data, artificial intelligence, and business intelligence to drive strategic decision-making and create innovative, data-driven solutions. Utilizing Microsoft tools and technologies, you will develop advanced analytics, reporting, and visualization capabilities, helping to shape the future of their data strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Data Migration and Profiling: Lead efforts in data migration, data profiling, and enhancing data quality.
  2. Power BI Implementation: Design and develop Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
  3. Data Analysis and Insights: Utilise advanced data analytics techniques to extract valuable insights that drive business decisions and improve products. Create and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualisations to empower business users.
  4. Data Architecture and Infrastructure: Design and oversee the implementation of robust data architectures and infrastructure using Microsoft tools. Ensure the efficient and scalable flow of data from various sources to data warehouses and data lakes.
  5. Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data, AI models, and BI reports.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in Data Engineering
  2. Power BI Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and its integration with various data sources.
  3. AI and BI Technologies: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in AI and BI technologies, including Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, and Power Platform.
  4. Data Analysis and ETL: Experience with ETL tools and advanced data analytics techniques.
  5. Educational Background: University degree or equivalent in computer science, Data Science, or a related field. Relevant Microsoft certifications are advantageous (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Power BI).
