WorkShop is now looking for an Outdoor Product Trainer located in Oslo. We are looking for someone with a passion for outdoor sports, retail, people and who loves creating strong relationships. Do you want to work for one of the world's most innovative sports companies? Then keep reading

As an Outdoor Product Trainer your main goal is to optimize how this brand can be presented even better in retail. You will do this by working closely together with the marketing team and field team to find opportunities for improvements and influence the retailers. You will lead and drive training for wholesale partners in the Nordics, mainly in Sweden and Norway, so planning and organizing routes will be important. You will work with the rest of the Nordic team to identify opportunities to train retailers and come up with content ideas for physical and digital trainings. You will also converse with field staff through a physical way of working and support the retailers training platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, creating and delivering memorable product training through physical and digital methods, in accordance with preset learning methodology, facilitation and engagement techniques
  • Navigate and update wholesalers' own digital e-learning platforms with engaging training content, creating training videos & quizzes, add product information & USPs
  • Driving interaction and participation with training within your wholesale customers
  • Building a team of proactive brand advocates in store, wholesaler and in your network and community
  • Onboarding, connecting, educating, and engaging wholesaler customers using our digital engagement app
  • Plan and execute tours in the most efficient way to visit all stores on your list during the year according to the plan
  • Creating an understanding of the optimal customer journey and gaining insights into customer behavior and forthcoming opportunities
  • Develop strategies and new concepts to increase conversion rates
  • Providing accurate and insightful reporting through the in-house app after every finished training
  • Weekly reports of your performance in wholesale
  • Sharing best practice back to the peer group and the client HQ to learn and adapt

Qualifications:

We also believe that the right person for this role has:

  • "Grown up at the stadium" with passion for sports
  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience within the sports category
  • Possess a solid level of pre-knowledge within the outdoor category
  • Relevant marketing education or studies - will be a benefit
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English
  • Experience working in authoring tools and SCORM is beneficial
  • A valid driver's license
