As Aker Solutions' global recruitment partner, NES Advantage is now looking for: Logistics Coordinator with experience in onshore or offshore projects. The project is led from Stord.

Aker Solutions' New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters, and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?
  • Support in developing logistics strategies for project execution
  • Contribute to transport/logistics planning and execution
  • Follow-up, control, and report progress on logistics contracts
  • Ensure timely deliveries in accordance with budget and schedule
  • Ensure that all activities are performed according to procedures
  • Report and manage risks
  • Develop and maintain supplier relations
Qualifications we think you should have:
  • At least two years of experience with project logistics
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of customs clearance processes
  • Experienced with coordinating transports of large volumes of bulk materials, equipment, and section shipments
  • Basic technical understanding and commercial skills
  • Good understanding of customer needs
  • Solid communication skills in English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to work independently on less complex tasks
  • Proactive and flexible, with a team-player attitude
  • Flexible and solution-oriented mindset
  • Skills in MS Office and MIPS
