Join Our Team as a Workshop Supervisor and Lead with Excellence

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing workshop works. Scheduling maintenances and repairs.
• Organizing materials required for the purpose such as spare parts, tools, consumables etc.
• Scheduling duties of the mechanics and keeping records.
• Evaluating the machineries and working to improve the performance.
• Ensure application of HSE rules related to own and subcontractor employees, with the goal of minimizing risks.
• Liase with technical, procurement, cost control, contract, HSE, permits departments to ensure the goals of the project are met.
• Drawing up activity plans in line with work schedule and contractual requirements.
• Dimensioning resources (manpower, equipment, material) for performing the project activities in timely and quality manner.
• Engage potential subcontractor companies and assess their technical capabilities and potential.
• Focus on and facilitate good relations with the project partners.

SKILLS

• Maintenance and Repair of Heavy machinery

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Technical Degree
• Knowledge of tunnel equipment and machinery min. 5 years
• Workshop management min. 2 years
• Tunnel Experience

SOTRA Link Construction awarded the contract to build the new Sotra connection for the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. This includes Norway's first 4-lane suspension bridge. New road is scheduled to open on June 1, 2027. Our head office is in Sandslimarka 35, 5254 Sandsli, Bergen Norway.
