Job Description:

  • Senior Discipline Responsible Engineer (Senior DRE) is responsible for discipline engineering activities.
  • The Senior DRE shall ensure that the work within the discipline is carried out according to plan and that progress is reported.
  • The Senior DRE shall ensure that potential changes/deviations are identified and logged in accordance with project change control system.
  • Produce/understand new documentation and drawings such as Cause & Effect, System Control Diagrams (SCD) diagrams, loop drawings for process, Fire & Gas and safety systems; IS Loop Calculations.
  • Revise existing documentation and drawings.
  • Discipline check and approval of produced documents and drawings in the project.
  • Order all instrument materials needed for offshore installation.
  • Must be able to understand P&IDs and drawings from different disciplines.
  • Discussions with Client and vendor representatives in order to find optimal technical solutions.

Qualifications:

  • More than 5 years experience in engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Must have knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as NORSOK, PTIL and API standards.
  • High degree of self-learning skills.
  • Good communication.
  • Excellent Norwegian and English writing & speaking skills.
  • Knowledge of modifications on onshore installations when in operation.
