MacGregor Black is partnering with a Rapidly Growing Business on the search for a Market Expansion Lead, to drive growth in the Norwegian market. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Oslo — perfect for someone entrepreneurial, commercial, and ready to make a big impact.

As the Market Expansion Lead, you'll spearhead the brand's success in Norway. With full ownership of both e-commerce and retail operations, you'll shape the local strategy, execute key initiatives, build a team, and deliver commercial results. This is a rare chance to be part of a global success story at a pivotal growth stage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the expansion into the Norwegian market, overseeing both digital and physical retail channels.
  • Localise and optimise the Norwegian online store, creating a seamless and high-converting user journey.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies — from influencer campaigns to digital performance.
  • Support the opening and commercial success of new retail stores.
  • Manage local logistics, supply chain, and inventory to ensure smooth operations.
  • Hire, manage, and mentor a local team across marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Own and drive the P&L for Norway, ensuring profitable growth.
  • Identify new commercial opportunities, partnerships, and trends to accelerate brand awareness and sales.

Who are we looking for?

  • A strong background in e-commerce, retail, or market expansion, ideally within fashion, sporting goods, or consumer brands.
  • Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms.
  • Proven leadership skills and a track record of building and scaling teams.
  • Solid commercial skills — confident managing a budget and making strategic decisions.
  • Knowledge of inventory, fulfilment, and omnichannel operations.
  • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves and thriving in a fast-moving, scale-up environment.
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
