QHSE Manager

NOV Energy Equipment (Wellstream) is seeking an experienced QHSE Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of NOV QHSE activities within Process Systems Oslo.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft, verify, comment and review documentation from a QHSE point of view
• Participate in internal & external Quality/HSE meetings, including with the client
• Assist / Support functional managers and team leader on developing procedures
• Maintain relationships with external QHSE related providers, ensuring effective outcomes for the business that are safety, to a high standard and cost effective
• Audit, Compliance & Project Execution (external and internal)
• Responsible for defining and rectifying potential gaps or inconsistencies between processes in the office (cross process check)
• Manage planning and performance of system audits to ensure effective implementation, including management of client requested audits.
• Responsible for ISO 9001 certification audits, follow-up audits, securing & maintaining the ISO 9001 certification of Oslo office
• Responsible for NCR/Improvement process. Promoting the process/assigning and follow-up of closing of NCR/Improvements
• Support with regards to QA to Client, the sub-contractors & suppliers.
• Support QCQS Manager in the implementation of PEM in all projects. Coordination of emergency management response activities, point of contact and escalation for incidents globally on a 24/7 basis

FORMAL COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE:

• Technical education BSc/MSc – Engineering
• Min. 5 years' experience within QA and HSE
• Experience in coordination and networking with multiple countries and cultures at global level
• Third Party Certified Auditor in current ISO standards
• Willingness to travel internationally as necessary
• Willingness and ability to be on-call contact for emergency situations out of hours
• Experience in HSE inspections, statistics and indicators
• Microsoft Sharepoint, ability to develop, create and maintain Sharepoint sites and backend databases for quality purposes and business needs
• Proactive and innovative, focused on continuous improvement
• Experience in statistics and analytical methods, ability to interpret and present data for reporting purposes
• High level excel skills, Strong general computer skills, able to work with a variety of systems, programs, learning new programs quickly.
