Chief Design Officer – Nordics - Data Centers

KCM are recruiting for a Chief Design & Engineering Officer for a Design and Build Construction company who specializes in Data Center construction in the Nordic and Mainland Europe regions. They deliver bespoke DC's in stages from the design process to enabling/civil works through structural build, M&E installation, and commissioning to final client handover.

They work closely with a group of partners throughout their entire supply chain including the design process, thus giving them more control over the entire delivery process.

In the role, a very senior position in their organisation, you will lead all engineering and design activities within their company both in the Nordics and through their relevant partner companies.

Securing the right candidate for this role is critical, and the company will offer the right package/salary in line with the importance of the role. Long-term contract, service agreement, or preferably a permanent position with relocation/allowance package also available.

You will come from a consultancy design background with significant experience in DC design, or minimum Pharma/Power generation exposure.

Preferably 20 years' experience with proven skills in team leadership, project design, construction management, financial management, risk assessment, strategic planning, in addition to on and off-site solution management. You will have experience of leading large teams.

A strong determination to meet deadlines in a cost-effective way and to ensure a quality design and projects are realized and budgets are met.

Preference is to relocate/live in Norway; however, some flexibility will be available.
