Our Stavanger office is looking for a dedicated HR Coordinator to join our team and assist in various human resources functions. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the HR Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department's daily operations. This role involves a wide range of HR tasks around recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, and HR administration. The ideal candidate will have great organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for people and company culture.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment:
- Assist in the recruitment process by doing job requisitions, posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Support hiring managers with candidate assessments and interview scheduling.
- Manage job offer processes and prepare employment contracts.
- Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Planning the onboarding process for new hires.
- Ensure new employees have digital profiles in HRIS to set up with necessary resources and access.
- Handle exit interviews and manage offboarding procedures.
- Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and HR-related issues.
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues and grievances.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with Norwegian labor laws, collective agreements, and company policies. MCC Stavanger AS complies with the printing industry's collective agreements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Oversee payroll and benefits administration to ensure employees are paid timely and accurately. There is an external payroll provider to run the payrolls.
- Prepare HR reports and documents as required.
- Assist in organizing company events, training sessions, and other HR-related activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must have computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to handle that the working days do not look the same.
- Previous experience (2+ years) in an HR role, preferably in an international company.
- Great organizational and time management skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
- Very communicative and possessing interpersonal skills.
