About the job

We're looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our Sales organization in Norway (Oslo). By joining us in this role, you will take ownership of accounts within the Commercial industry; primarily in Telco, Manufacturing, and Energy. You will be responsible for generating new business development within Enterprise accounts, orchestrating teams, and driving increased business value for our customers through the use of data, AI, and analytics solutions.

We're looking for an Account Executive who is ready to walk into a room backed by 40 years of analytics excellence and innovation. We need someone who is passionate about building authentic relationships with our customers, wants to help solve our customers' problems, and is ready to drive sales of our world-class solutions.

As a Senior Account Executive Commercial, you will:

  1. Be responsible for achieving total software revenue targets and managing business objectives.
  2. Manage and grow an existing set of accounts within the Commercial industry.
  3. Develop plans to identify areas with potential for further development and execute them.
  4. Generate new business through strategic-based selling and managing relationships with customers.
  5. Sell software, solutions, and services to current and prospective customers; work with other sales/pre-sales/domain personnel to position and leverage sales opportunities.
  6. Direct complex sales opportunities including implementation plans, which include the coordination of internal and/or external services.
  7. Prepare standard quotations and proposal information as needed; work with other departments to create and finalize contracts and set time schedules for delivery services.
  8. Follow up with customers to track satisfaction levels and discover additional revenue opportunities.

Required qualifications:

  1. Experience in selling complex software solutions and services to both business owners and IT stakeholders.
  2. Experience in driving sales processes within the Telco, Manufacturing, Energy, Utilities, or Retail sectors.
  3. Demonstrated experience in account mapping and navigating in complex ecosystems.
  4. Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics and develop a sales plan; ability to communicate technical and business concepts and relate them to SAS applications and user needs; ability to work independently and lead an account team.
  5. Fluent in Norwegian and English.
  6. Knowledge of analytics solutions and/or Cloud and services preferred, but not essential.
