Senior Electrical Engineer

  • Develop and design electrical systems for field development and modification projects, including power generation, distribution, electrical integration, and production systems.
  • Contribute to front-end engineering design (FEED), ensuring electrical solutions align with project goals, safety standards, and industry regulations.

Sustainability Integration:

  • Support the integration of green technologies such as energy efficiency solutions, carbon capture systems, and renewable energy into electrical designs and energy systems.
  • Assist in the implementation of sustainability initiatives that reduce energy consumption, lower emissions, and promote a transition to greener energy solutions.

Process Optimization:

  • Work on process optimization projects, identifying opportunities to improve electrical system efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance overall performance across production facilities.

Collaborative Engineering:

  • Collaborate with process engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to develop integrated solutions for field development and modifications of energy infrastructure.
  • Provide technical input on electrical matters during feasibility studies, conceptual design, and cost estimation phases of projects.

Lifecycle Support:

  • Contribute to lifecycle management of electrical systems for energy infrastructure, including upgrades and modifications of existing platforms and production systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices throughout the entire project lifecycle, from design through to commissioning.

Client Engagement:

  • Support client-facing teams in technical discussions, providing expert advice and contributing to the development of project proposals and technical documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reports, particularly on the sustainability aspects of electrical and energy systems.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on field development, modifications, and/or energy infrastructure in the oil, gas, or energy industry.
  • Familiarity with front-end engineering design (FEED) and conceptual design processes.
  • Technical competence in Island and Grid connected Power Systems.
  • Experience as PRE for HV/MV/LV Switchgears, electrical generators, transformers and motors.
  • Experience in integrating sustainable solutions such as energy efficiency, carbon capture, and renewable energy systems into electrical systems is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software and tools, with experience in power distribution systems, SCADA, and automation systems.
  • Strong understanding of industry codes and standards related to electrical design and safety, particularly in the energy sector.
  • Experience with project management processes, including feasibility studies, cost estimations, and project scoping.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients and stakeholders.
