At Nexans, our global vision is to electrify the future. At our business group PWR Transmission, we are designing and working with the fabrication of the world's best cables. We deliver EPCI turnkey projects anywhere in the world. This means we have the best tools, equipment, and people with competence and skillset to install and service those cables.

Welcoming you to the team
The team is dynamic, with experienced members located in Paris/La Défense or Oslo. Our team is responsible for PWR Transmission related to transformation and project management. The workplace is in Paris/La Défense or Oslo, and you will be reporting to the Business Group VP Transformation.

Getting a flying start
To succeed in the Transformation Project Management team, you should have solid experience in the electrification, offshore wind, or submarine interconnection industries. You should have experience in project management, transformation processes, and cross-functional workstreams. Ideally, your experience is related to interconnectors, wind farms, or power from shore. You will be comfortable ensuring quality and safety during the projects and have experience managing transformation initiatives, identifying key problems, and driving solutions, enhanced by your natural leadership and communication abilities.

How you make an impact
You will work in teams as a PWR Transmission Project Manager focusing on transformation initiatives. You will support the deployment of transformation strategies, ensure key actions are followed, and coach teams across multiple workstreams. With your strong leadership and problem-solving skills, you will ensure the successful execution of transformation objectives and drive continuous improvement. Additionally, you will be comfortable executing transformation initiatives on time and within budget, improving operational efficiency through process optimization, and managing stakeholder alignment for successful project execution. You may also participate in developing efficiencies and take part in technical improvements relevant to our department. You will boost your impact by actively promoting Quality and HSE.

Your starting point when you join

  • Degree in engineering, business, or management.
  • 4 years of relevant engineering experience (project management experience in the electrification, offshore wind, or submarine interconnection industries is a must).
  • Consulting skills, financial acumen, and transformation experience will increase your likelihood of succeeding in this role.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Ability to manage complex cross-functional teams and strong communication skills are of utmost importance.
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written; Norwegian is a plus.
  • Your personal values should align with those of Nexans: Pioneer, Dedicated, United.
