Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with data center experience to work in their headquarter in Oslo.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Offer input on potential improvements to designs.
  • Monitor installation quality and provide feedback through snagging lists.
  • Review LV switch panels for compliance with LV switchboard specifications and single-line diagrams.
  • Collaborate with the design team, ensuring seamless integration and alignment of electrical systems with other project disciplines.
  • Develop complex electrical calculations, schematics, layouts, and detailed drawings using industry-standard tools.
  • Design and specify advanced electrical components and systems for data center projects.
  • Understand and anticipate client requirements, ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with the latest electrical regulations, codes, and industry standards.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed project documentation, including reports, specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to align and integrate all project aspects.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years with 2+ years of work experience leading the design of data centers is a must.
  • LV, Eplan, Revit, HV/MV knowledge.
  • English Proficiency is mandatory.

  • Proper understanding of the impact of mechanical systems on the acoustic impact on the environment, the 3D implementation on the building and room layout, the structural impact of various technologies.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Great organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills with client-facing meetings.
  • Interact with design partners from other engineering disciplines.
