As a Field Specialist – Cementing, you'll play a key role in being the on-site, first point of contact for our wellsite cementing activities. You'll be leading people and working on a variety of complex projects. You will oversee the training and development of your team to deliver a first-class service.
As a Field Specialist – Cementing, you will be responsible for:
Managing and preparing your cementing service team to ensure operational readiness, execution of work and post-job evaluation
Providing guidance to customers and teams on-site to coordinate cementing operations and to aid decision-making processes
Supervising crew, ensuring operational readiness and maintenance of cementing unit and casing accessories equipment
Mentoring the training and development of your team to ensure quality cementing services are delivered to customers
Providing records of products consumed to customer representatives at wellsites, ensuring successful inventory tracking and invoice submission
Ensuring health and safety compliance throughout cementing activities to mitigate risks to people, equipment and environment.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a good, solid background in engineering in a field position
Have experience in execution of cementing jobs, pumping and pressure testing with knowledge of two brands of cement units (Baker's and/or competitors' ones) as minimum
Have experience in Foam Cementing
Demonstrate leadership experience of managing and mentoring a team in a cross-functional business organisation
Be fluent in English and excellent all-round communication skills
Be happy and flexible to travel to international locations to work with customers on site and offshore
Be of an analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems and identify solutions.
