We are now looking for a Senior Project Planner for one of our customers based in Oslo (candidates from Halden are also accepted).

Responsibilities
  • Assess allocated tenders, considering risks and financial aspects.
  • Review and clarify tender specifications for better planning and control.
  • Develop baseline schedules per contract, client, and internal requirements.
  • Update project status regularly, coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Track project scope, critical paths, and dependencies.
  • Analyze variations, resources, and risk/opportunity alignment.
  • Ensure on-time delivery (OTD) and team adherence.
  • Provide internal/external progress reports.
  • Adjust baseline schedules for major scope changes and update monthly reports.
  • Align resource forecasts with project teams and managers.
  • Conduct analyses and simulations for project needs.
  • Maintain professional standards and enhance planning competencies.
  • Support system improvements through training.
  • Contribute to skills development and resource planning.
  • Assist with other management-directed tasks.
Requirements
  • University degree or similar
  • Professional level in the field of project planning
  • Typically 5 - 10 years experience as project planner in relevant sectors
  • General knowledge in project management as well as basic technical and economical understanding
  • Computer skills in relevant software programs like Primavera, MS Project, Excel, Word etc.
  • Writing and oral presentation skills, English and Norwegian.
