Wilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS) is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst.

We are excited to share that we are looking for a new Supply Chain Analyst to join our team at WSS. In this role, you will report to the Vice President Business Management and focus on driving and supporting the analysis of our supply chain. You'll collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to spot trends, assess risks, and suggest improvements. By building and maintaining optimization models, you'll provide actionable insights to boost supply chain efficiency, resilience, and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, you'll develop and maintain measurements for various business management functions like procurement, inventory planning, and network design.

What will you work on:
  1. Collect, analyze and interpret supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  2. Identify and assess risks within the supply chain and recommend risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of potential disruptions.
  3. Create and maintain optimization models capable of simulating effects of possible changes to network design.
  4. Produce meaningful and accurate observations and recommendations for improving supply chain resilience, reduce risk and improve total supply chain cost.
  5. Communicate your findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  6. Ensure that insights are actionable and aligned with business objectives.
  7. Collaborate closely with other departments such as ESG on supply chain related initiatives and delivery of insights.
  8. Participate in projects to provide supply chain related input to new business ideas and areas.
  9. Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in supply chain technology.
  10. Be the go-to resource for understanding supply chain key performance indicators and metrics, helping evaluate performance through both ad-hoc and regular reporting.

  9. Fluent in written and spoken English.
