Senior Instrument Engineer

Contract period: 03.08.2025 - 30.06.2027
Location: Stavanger, Oslo or Trondheim

Main Tasks:
  1. Responsible for field instrumentation and field equipment for safety systems
  2. Technical discipline responsible for barrier functions for instrumented systems
  3. Operational procedures owner
  4. Prepare for taking over equipment from project. Secure necessary tools and frameworks are established for operations phase.
  5. Secure compliance and continuous improvement of operational procedures. Ref. BMS 77-001120 Implementation Responsibilities for Process Owners
  6. Ensure that the established work practices and procedures for offshore work are delivered with the expected quality
  7. Contribute to digitalization of operational procedures through the PXO system portal project as required
  8. Secure a good cooperation with critical suppliers and contractors
Qualifications:
  1. Education - Bachelor within relevant discipline. Relevant experience can compensate for education.
  2. Minimum 7 years' experience within technical field/discipline
  3. The successful applicant will be given the necessary training to succeed.
  4. Fluent abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
  5. You are a self-starter and able to work independently
  6. You have an interest in how data can be made available, interpreted, visualized, and used as a basis for various recommendations and decisions
