The division Integration & Energy is responsible for strengthening Kongsberg Maritime's position in the energy transition, as a leading integrator of maritime solutions. We will be focused on developing integrated solutions that create added value for our customers within a range of segments. The division will coordinate and set direction across the product divisions in KM, and is responsible for our Energy products and systems, Ship Design, Remote and Autonomous development, and delivery of integrated projects.

Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) is central to everything we do. We are seeking a dynamic leader to head this function within Integration & Energy. As the Senior Manager QHSE, you will lead a team of highly skilled professionals and provide essential support across the division. This role is part of our division's central People, Quality & HSE function, with dual reporting to one of our Business Units, and a key point of contact towards Kongsberg Maritime central QHSE environments.

We are looking for someone who will be a key player across our division, ensuring that QHSE and risk management are integral to all our activities.

Key accountabilities

  • Promote a High-Quality and Safety Mindset: Together with your team, drive a culture that emphasizes high quality and security, ensuring our products remain world-class and our people stay safe.
  • Supportive Leadership: Be a supportive leader for the QHSE team, manage the budget, and ensure the team has the right capacity and competency. Lead and contribute to proactive QHSE awareness, training, risk management, audit programs, and management reviews.
  • QHSE Business Partner: Join one of our Business Units as their QHSE Business Partner/Manager and a member of the leadership team, contributing operationally and strategically to ensure Quality and HSE deliveries.
  • Business Improvements: Contribute to and implement business improvements, promote and communicate best practices, and share lessons learned.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure our division complies with required regulations, ISO standards, KOG and KM strategies, and processes for planning, monitoring, and supporting QHSE activities.
  • Risk Management: Ensure professional risk management practices are upheld within our division.

Who are we looking for?

  • You are an engaged leader, who supports a team of skilled quality and HSE promoters.
  • You communicate confidently, leading and influencing changes and improvements throughout the organization across matrix and project organization.
  • You are pragmatic, capable of balancing dilemmas and having a business perspective.
  • You have formal qualifications within Quality and/or HSE, and good knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and project work including methods and tools.
  • Preferably, you are certified as Lead Auditor.
  • You may have experience in engineering, risk and project management as well as in formal investigation processes.
