The opportunity

Then this could be the opportunity for you Hitachi Energy Norway is looking for an experienced dedicated HSE advisor who will take a central and leading role in improving our HSE culture and ensuring compliance with procedures and internal control.

How you'll make an impact

  1. Lead and run key HSE projects that strengthen and further develop our HSE culture across the organization.
  2. Responsible for sustainable improvement processes that ensure higher compliance with procedures and internal control, both in offices and on site, with the aim of raising HSE standards.
  3. Develop and implement targeted HSE training for employees at all levels, and actively contribute to building a stronger safety culture through knowledge sharing and awareness-raising.
  4. Analyze nonconformities and identify areas for improvement, as well as proactively propose and implement concrete measures that strengthen HSE work and contribute to lasting change.
  5. Be a proactive and strategic partner for managers and employees in HSE-related issues.
  6. Be a subject matter expert in risk assessments and contribute to continuous improvement of the company's HSE systems, so that we always operate with the best possible risk management and safety.
  7. Be a driving force for the implementation of digital, sustainable solutions that streamline HSE work and contribute to a more environmentally friendly and future-oriented workplace.
  8. Some travel must be expected.

Your background

  1. Higher education in HSE, engineering, or other relevant background.
  2. Experience in HSE, preferably from the energy sector or the construction industry.
  3. Documented experience with culture change processes and implementation of internal control systems.
  4. Strong skills in project management and ability to drive internal improvement projects.
  5. Experience with the development and implementation of training and courses.
  6. Good knowledge of Norwegian HSE legislation and international standards.
  7. Good communication skills in Norwegian and English.
