About the Role

Techconsult AS is seeking a highly skilled Instrument Engineer to join our team. As an Instrument Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Execution: Ensure that all project deliverables are completed to the required standard, on time, and within budget.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring that all technical aspects of the project are properly managed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Estimation and Planning: Develop and maintain accurate project estimates and plans, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Document Control: Ensure that all project documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date, and that all changes are properly tracked and approved.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of potential risks and that mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Reporting: Provide regular project reports to stakeholders, ensuring that all project progress and performance metrics are accurately captured and communicated.
Requirements
  • Education: MSc, BSc, or Technical College degree in a relevant field, such as instrumentation, process control, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in instrumentation and process control.
  • Skills: Excellent technical skills, with a strong understanding of instrumentation and process control principles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Language: Fluent English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English. Norwegian language skills are also desirable.
