Job Title: Senior Instrument Engineer

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrument Engineer to join our team at Techconsult AS. As a key member of our instrumentation team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of instrumentation systems for our clients in the oil, gas, and land-based industries.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Maintenance and Operations:**
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • **Concept Development and Detail Engineering:**
  • Develop and implement new instrumentation concepts and designs to meet client requirements.
  • **Specify and Prepare Documentation:**
  • Prepare detailed documentation and specifications for instrumentation systems, including layout drawings and termination plans.
  • **Update Systems and Client Communication:**
  • Update instrumentation systems with clients, including new tag and documentation, specification, and follow-up instrument P.O's.
  • **Preparation of MTO's and Job Cards:**
  • Prepare material take-off (MTO) documents and input data into job cards.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • **Education and Experience:**
  • Master's, Bachelor's, or technical education in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in field instrumentation work.
  • Previous experience from NORSOK projects.
  • Offshore Course: Valid offshore certificate & medical.
  • **Communication and Language Skills:**
  • Good communicative skills in English and preferably Norwegian.
