We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commissioning Engineer - Instrumentation to join our team at IKM Gruppen AS. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of instrumentation commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a company representative for the instrumentation commissioning discipline performance requirements.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans and procedures to ensure timely and safe completion of instrumentation commissioning activities.
- Collaborate with the project team to establish a commissioning network in the project completion system, including PIMS CMS and PIMS SWCR.
- Participate in the development of commissioning activities and agree on milestones for the project.
- Execute commissioning activities together with the contractors' organization in accordance with established procedures and plans.
- Ensure that commissioning activities are executed in accordance with company and contractor requirements for safe execution of work.
- Review and incorporate relevant lessons learned into commissioning planning.
- Sign and report status from PIMS CMS and PIMS SWCR for commissioning.
- Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, and other HSEQ-related reviews.
- Contribute to the management of change process and project risk workshops.
- Identify and follow up on relevant risks and mitigating actions.
- Prepare commissioning queries as needed.
- Follow up with suppliers where MC/FAT is to be carried out.
- Act as a driving force for the development and implementation of commissioning activities for the project.
- Perform SCD logic testing, loop and SIF testing, and dynamic activities.
- University degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 6-9 years of experience as a commissioning instrument assistance systems within larger development projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation commissioning and project management principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
