Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecom Engineer to join our team at Techconsult AS. As a Senior Telecom Engineer, you will be responsible for participating in EPCI modification projects, general telecom engineering, and telecom system engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Participate in EPCI modification projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  2. Conduct general telecom engineering, including design, development, and testing of telecom systems.
  3. Lead telecom system engineering, including planning, implementation, and maintenance of telecom systems.
  4. Coordinate and execute technical procurement activities (PRE) in projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  5. Prepare and submit Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and requisitions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  6. Develop and implement installation job-cards, ensuring efficient and safe execution.
  7. Collaborate with other disciplines, providing technical input and expertise.
  8. Coordinate and cooperate with suppliers and clients, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
  9. Conduct offshore surveys, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  10. Provide commissioning assistance and as-built engineering, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
Requirements
  1. Master's degree, Bachelor's degree, or Technical College education in a relevant field, with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in telecom engineering.
  2. Offshore certificate and medical approval for Norway, or willingness to obtain.
  3. EX & FSE certification.
  4. Proven experience in telecom systems engineering, with a strong understanding of NCS (Norwegian Continental Shelf) and NORSOK standards.
  5. Experience in preparation of job-cards, commissioning, and as-built engineering.
  6. Excellent communication skills in English and Norwegian, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
