Job Description

We are seeking a Fundraising Specialist to join our team at the Educational Equality Institute, an NGO based in Norway. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of fundraising campaigns and activities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

The Fundraising Specialist will work closely with other departments to ensure fundraising efforts align with overall organizational goals. Familiarity with fundraising software and online platforms is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies that align with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Arrange meetings with partners and communicate regularly to maintain strong partnerships and explore potential collaborations.
  • Research and identify new partners, and develop strategies to build relationships with them.
  • Explore innovative ways to generate funding for the organization.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with fundraising software and online platforms.
