About the Role

At Hitachi Energy, we're committed to advancing a sustainable energy future for all. As a Tender Manager, Service Level Agreements, you'll be part of our Grid Automation Europe tendering team, working on projects that have a real impact on our communities and society.

Your Responsibilities

  • You'll be accountable for service level agreements (SLAs) tenders, from initial request to contract closing and handover to operations.
  • You'll define the services covered by the agreement, including parameters for service delivery, support hours, response times, availability, performance metrics, and support options, considering sales strategy and customer needs.
  • Your field of operation will be substation automation and mission-critical communication, providing opportunities to handle a variety of tenders in our served markets.

Key Activities

  • You'll facilitate communication and interactions between sales and operations to define the SLA scope and requirements, from the early pursuit stage until final contact negotiation and signature.
  • You'll prepare commercial, legal, and technical offers aligned with customer expectations and within the required timeframe.
  • You'll prepare cost calculations, reports, internal risk reviews, and tender submission approvals.
  • You'll continue to improve tender documentation and associated information.

Your Profile

  • You'll have a higher education (e.g., bachelor's degree) in engineering or a similar field.
  • You'll have technical understanding of substation automation, control & protection, and mission-critical communication solutions.
  • Previous professional experience in service-related activities is a plus.
  • You'll have understanding and experience of tendering & commercial processes.
  • You'll be able to coordinate cross-functional requirements towards the completion of the proposal.
  • You'll be customer-oriented and a team player with good communication skills.
  • You'll have language skills: fluency in the local language of the desired job location plus a good level of English is required.
