Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Field Engineer to join our team at Dovre Group, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical problem-solving and piping field engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the production team in resolving technical issues that may arise during construction or installation work at a site.
  • Provide technical support for piping field engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with the shop engineering team to prepare work basis and documentation for technical solutions.
  • Establish technical clarifications in our project management system.
  • Ensure that site locations and installations are safe and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain close communication with work leaders, shop engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Have a strong understanding of 3D/2D design systems, project management software, and planning tools.
  • Be familiar with relevant project documents, industry standards, and codes.
  • Be available to work in Norway.
  • Have excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Requirements
  • MSc, BSc, or technical college education, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and job specifications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
