About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Nutreco. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing fish/shrimp trials, working closely with internal teams, external customers, and collaborative partners. This includes everything from trial design and budgeting to ethical compliance, protocol writing, and reporting results.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and Manage Trials: Develop and implement trial plans, manage trial budgets, and ensure compliance with ethical standards.
  2. Maximize Research Station Capacity: Identify and pursue commercialization opportunities, negotiate with customers, and optimize trial utilization.
  3. Develop and Maintain SOPs: Create and update Standard Operating Procedures to ensure high standards and compliance.
  4. Oversee Daily Operations: Manage daily trial operations, optimize processes, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  5. Support Salmonid Nutrition Team: Plan, manage, and report on digestibility trials, and provide additional support as needed.
  6. Foster Innovation and Collaboration: Build trust and foster innovation through effective collaboration with peers, management, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. Master's Degree: In aquaculture science, animal science, or a related field.
  2. Project Management Experience: Proven experience in planning, executing, and overseeing projects.
  3. Experimental Design Skills: Competence in experimental design of fish/shrimp trials is an advantage.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring project deliverables are met on time.
  5. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Data Analysis: Proficiency in data processing and statistical analysis is an advantage.
  7. Language Skills: Fluency in English, and competence in Norwegian or Spanish languages is an advantage but not a requirement.
