Electrical Documentation Specialist

This role involves working as a dedicated Documentation Engineer to lead technical documentation, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver solutions to leading Global players within the offshore Wind industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a system for testing, monitoring, controlling, and integrating lighting for unmanned offshore installations.
• Ensure the system is scalable and reusable for similar projects following the same philosophy.
• Base the system on DALI control and monitoring of lighting, as well as relevant inputs from UPS/Power Supply (voltage) and SCADA (e.g., Helicopter landing = Manned mode).
• Comply with relevant regulations and requirements regarding lighting and monitoring of emergency/escape lighting from DNV, IEC, and customer-specific requirements.
• Design for a lifespan of 40+ years with minimal maintenance requirements.
• Create a simple and intuitive user interface, both locally and via SCADA.
• Integrate this with the delivery of electrical distribution, including the main switchboard and sub-distributions.
• Maintain a strong focus on cybersecurity, reliability, and ease of owning and operating.
• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation for a specific industrial system development project.
• Collaborate closely with development and delivery teams to ensure accurate and relevant documentation.
• Ensure all technical documentation complies with applicable standards, certifications, and regulations.
• Create, prepare, and manage documentation for installation, operation, maintenance, and system interfaces, including integration with the customer's SCADA system.
• Update and refine existing documentation in line with project progress and customer feedback.
• Support project-specific documentation needs, including bid materials and customer delivery documentation.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing by organizing and managing structured documentation tools and workflows.
