PLM Implementation Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to drive the digitalization and integration of our Engineering IT. As a PLM Technology Lead, you will play a key role in driving the implementation of new capabilities surrounding design, manufacture, and lifecycle management of physical and digital products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PLM strategies to improve product development, delivery of design, and product lifecycle management.

• Work closely with all P&H business units to ensure our PLM and Engineering IT is fit for purpose for today and in the future.

• Lead the roll-out of PLM, development or exploration, proof of concept, and implementation of new capabilities.

• Establish best practice and provide training and/or individual on-boarding as required.

Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant technical subject or equivalent experience within the industry will be considered.

• Knowledge of Propulsion & Handling products, the maritime industry, or IT/Business systems from maritime or other relevant industries will be considered.

• Previous use of Product Lifecycle Management tools like Teamcenter, 3D and 2D design tools such as NX and AutoCAD, and/or knowledge of document handling systems will be an advantage.

• Previous experience of leading change, implementation, or project management are an advantage.
