About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Radisson Blu Royal Garden Hotel, Trondheim. As a key member of our hotel's management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our food and beverage departments, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the Food and Beverage service teams, fostering a culture of growth, development, and performance within the department.
  • Guest Service: Ensure that all aspects of the guest service experience are delivered to the highest levels, including a positive and timely response to guest enquiries.
  • Operations and Planning: Develop and implement plans to achieve F&B initiatives and hotel targets, including managing budgets and controlling costs.
  • Team Development: Prepare and be responsible for the departmental budget, ensuring that productivity and performance levels are attained.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders, including colleagues, guests, and suppliers.
  • Service Standards: Establish and deliver effective programs that advance service standards, profitability, and cost control.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence and compliance to all legislation, performing due diligence requirements and best practice activities for internal and external audit.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in F&B service and operations, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience in leading a team, with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style.
  • Guest Service: Commitment to exceptional guest service, with a passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to find creative solutions, offering advice and recommendations.
  • Business Acumen: Business driven and commercially aware, with personal integrity and the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time, and energy.
  • Technical Skills: Experienced in using IT systems on various platforms, with experience with EMMA being beneficial.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, with knowledge of a Scandinavian language being beneficial.
