Operational Risk Lead Job Description

Aker Solutions is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Lead to join our team. As an Operational Risk Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of the project Risk Management program and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and ensure the implementation of the project Risk Management program and processes.
  • Guide and engage teams in risk management practices.
  • Collaborate closely with the management team, engineering disciplines, and onshore/offshore sites to identify risk events, monitor them, and follow up on defined actions and deadlines.
  • Ensure proper risk registration input from customers, disciplines, sites (onshore/offshore), subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Prepare reports for the management team and customers as required.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analyses as needed.
  • Facilitate risk management sessions and reviews.

Requirements:

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Relevant work experience and competence can compensate for formal education.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to plan and conduct risk sessions and reviews with disciplines, management team, subcontractors, and customers.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Risk Management processes (ISO and operational risks in multidisciplinary project work.
  • Proficient in ARM and Microsoft Office.
  • Skills, knowledge, and ability to lead risk sessions and reviews.
  • Team player, proactive, and able to work independently.
