About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Community Manager to lead our H5P project's success and sustainability. As the primary point of contact for community members, you will engage, support, and empower our user base, contributors, and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Community Engagement:
    • Advocate and Spokesperson: Promote the H5P project's benefits and values within the community.
    • Primary Point of Contact: Address inquiries, feedback, and concerns from community members.
    • Partnerships and Collaborations: Establish partnerships with educational institutions and other relevant organizations.
    • Community Events: Organize webinars, conferences, and meetups to facilitate interaction and knowledge sharing.
  2. Content Creation:
    • Develop and Curate Content: Create engaging blog posts, tutorials, and documentation to facilitate user onboarding and knowledge sharing.
    • Maintain Knowledge Base: Ensure an up-to-date knowledge base empowering users to find solutions independently.
  3. Community Growth:
    • Attract New Contributors: Design and execute strategies to attract new contributors, users, and collaborators from the open-source world.
    • Refine Processes: Continuously refine processes to make joining and contributing to H5P seamless.
  4. Feedback Management:
    • Gather and Analyze Feedback: Gather and analyze user feedback to inform product development and improvement.
    • Continuous Improvement: Use feedback to continuously improve the experience for community members.
  5. Metrics and Reporting:
    • Monitor and Report Metrics: Monitor and report on community engagement metrics, growth, and user satisfaction.
    • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data insights to adapt and refine community strategies for long-term success.


You'll Bring to the Role:
  • A deep understanding of open-source communities, including contributing to or managing such projects.
  • Proven experience fostering and growing online communities, especially within the open-source space.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
  • Experience organizing events like webinars, hackathons, or conferences.
