The Role:

We are seeking an experienced QHSER Manager to join our STSC Project Department. As QHSER Manager, you will be responsible for managing quality, health, safety, environment, and risk activities on assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and facilitate QHSER activities to ensure high focus on Nexans' QHSER objectives across projects.
  2. Facilitate risk assessment and follow up on mitigation actions to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.
  3. Ensure compliance with our Project Execution Model and oversee project reporting.
  4. Develop and implement quality plans to align with project execution models and contract requirements.
  5. Act as Deputy Project Manager when requested.
  6. Manage non-conformance reports and conduct audits on suppliers/sub-contractors.
  7. Oversee change and knowledge management processes.
  8. Follow up on sub-suppliers to ensure thorough project execution.

Requirements:

  • University degree in engineering or QHSER discipline.
  • Experience from marine and/or manufacturing-based industries.
  • Proactive attitude with assertive implementation and follow-up of QHSER requirements.
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and oral.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team player skills.
  • Alignment with Nexans' values.
